An independent practice for the patient brief.

Eleven people, twelve time zones of clients, one room in Hauz Khas. We work slowly, in small teams, on a small number of engagements at a time. Everything below is the long answer to who.

01 / Manifesto

The quiet work outlasts the loud.

We don't work in volumes. We work in decades. Every brand we touch is built to outlast its first redesign, every site to survive its third quarter on Google, every system to be the one a future team reaches for instead of replacing.

Restraint is the most expensive thing on the page. So is patience. So is the willingness to delete. We trade in all three.

02 / Mission

To make the brand the asset the founder spent it on.

Most agencies sell hours. We sell positioning. The work we ship is judged on whether the next investor, the next hire, and the next customer all read the same room — and whether that room remains true three years out.

03 / The masthead

04 / Principles

Six rules we don't break.

i.

Restraint is a feature

If a section doesn't earn its rent, we cut it. We have never received a brief that asked for less, and we have never delivered one that wanted for more.

ii.

One signature, not five

One typeface that carries the room. One motion idea executed perfectly. One color the visitor remembers a week later. The rest is scaffolding.

iii.

Slow is fast

We move at the pace of the strategy, not the calendar. The first month is reading; the last is writing. Everything in between is the brief becoming visible.

iv.

The brand is the company

If the recruiting page reads colder than the homepage, the brand is broken. We work end-to-end so the room is consistent — sales deck to support email.

v.

Code is craft

Every site we ship is hand-written, semantic, accessible, and indexed. We hand off codebases that the next developer doesn't apologize for.

vi.

Say no, often

We turn down more briefs than we accept. The work compounds when we choose carefully — and so does the relationship with the work we do choose.

The next brief on the desk.
